Tell A Vision

Everyone's journey is unique, but we all encounter pivotal moments of pain, loss, joy, and discovery. These crucial experiences shape our reality and help us become the person we are today. TELL A VISION utilizes CRT TVs as tools for reflection, flipping through various channels (moments) in life to narrate a cyclical story. Each channel features its own distinctive style, incorporating 2D and 3D elements, all digitally created.

This art exhibition was made possible by 5X Fest. I was invited to be one of the artists contributing a piece that explored the themes of blooming and belonging for their annual 5X Art Party/Exhibition.

The Ceremony

CHANNEL 01

The pain of loss serves as the catalyst for this story.

The thought of death and attending funerals has always felt dark and haunting. I wanted to depict loss as a visualization of the person who has passed, highlighting the beauty and joy they brought to life.

Misery, You and I

CHANNEL 02

The stage of the journey where you cross the threshold and embark on your adventure, highlighting the feeling of loneliness and the act of holding onto pain as you slowly bury it in your subconscious.

The Dance

CHANNEL 03

Road to your trials (life).

Everyone has unique experiences growing up, and each year brings us into a new phase of life. This piece illustrates that, despite our individual paths, we all share the journey together. The highs and lows, the feelings of joy and sorrow—all come together in the dance we call life.

Ego Death

CHANNEL 04

Death/Rebirth.

A reflection of my experiences in nature, diving into the depths of myself to finally confront the pain I had been holding onto. Committing to the destruction of the self, clearing the way for growth once more.

Innerbloom

CHANNEL 05

All of life’s experiences coming together to make you the person you are today. Blooming into your true form to finally fill the void that had taken up so much space.
